yout website is amazing, along with your work. i am learning how to do my own ducks, the biggest issue i am having is determining if i have all the fat out of the duck in order for it to dry properly, what's the best way to get this all out. or a book that i could use to help me. thanks
Mr. Holmes: Thank you for your interest in my work. The best way to preserve a duck is to wrap it in plastic and freeze it, never wrap a duck in paper to preserve it in the freezer, as the duck will get freezer burned. Please feel free to call me with any further questions. Thanks, Kevin
Kevin your work is real impressive and your website in not too shabby. I've been wanting to have four blue wing teal mounted in flight but I haven't been able to retrieve the birds in good condition. When I harvest a bird in good condition how should i wrap and preserve the bird until i'm ready too send it to you?
